![]() Check ' run this program on compatibility Mode For: Windows 98/Me'. A Window opens Right click on 'fforce.exe' > properties > Compatibility Tab. Right click the game in your library, Select properties,Local Files Tab, Browse Local Files. The only hope from here would be to look online for a version that has been re-configured to run on Windows 7. This is an old game and to fix the issues it must run in Windows 98/Me Compatibility mode and as Admin. I have a disk of Afterdark Screensavers, and those won't install off the disk for me, they didn't install off the disk when I was still using an XP laptop, it always comes up with some instillation error, supposedly a missing program. To be honest though, I don't know if it will work. ![]() In that case, you would probably need to have a virtual operating system, which is rather redundant for the purpose of a screensaver. ![]() The issue with this method though is that if you're referring to the original pre-installed software, it's not trying to save as a separate activatible program, it'll try to save where the other screensavers are. Your best bet, if you're even able to install it, is to run it in compatibility mode so that it's comparing to an older operating system. Most programs that old are difficult to run compatible with modern software without using emulation or virtual software.
